An off-road vehicle park is coming to Oakland County.
Oakland County Parks Commission voted to develop an O-R-V park with state park officials. The park would be on former gravel pit land in Groveland Twp. in rural northwest Oakland County.
They’re aiming at the first phase of trails and facilities to open in the fall of 2018.
The Oakland County Parks and Recreation Commission operates a 7,000-acre network of 13 parks and golf courses with a $25-million annual budget.
