Trains, Planes, Automobiles Busy

It’s going to be a busy week on the roads and in the air.

Triple-A Michigan is predicting nearly 3 1/2 million state residents will be traveling to visit friends and relatives over the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays.

This is up almost 3 1/2 percent from last years figures and the highest total volume since the auto club began tracking such data 16 years ago.

For those going by car, gas prices will be higher this year than they dealt with alst year.

The state’s average price for a gallon of self-service regular unleaded gasoline is 2-dollars and 49-cents.

That’s up 20 cents from last year.
