Road Rage Sparks The Latest X-Way Shooting

A driver was shot at on a Detroit freeway over the weekend.

State police said the latest shooting was an act of road rage.

The shooting happened on I-96 between Warren and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

The victim said he pulled off the freeway and called police. He was not hit but his car has a bullet hole.

The victim, an Ypsilanti man, was heading to Detroit when he said he accidentally cut off another driver.

The victim said the other driver started tailgating him, and he slowed down in response.

The victim said he moved over to the right lane and the other driver pulled up beside him.That’s when he was shot at.

The shooting follows 4 shootings on I-96 and I-94 earlier this month.

Police said they do not believe they are connected to  the incident.
