Detroit Cracks Down on Graffiti Artist

Melvin “Butch” Hollowell, Corporation Counsel for the city of Detroit explains to Paul W. Smith why the city wants to see Shepard Fairey, a well known graffiti artist charged with a crime for painting graffiti around town. Hollowell says Shepard has been charged with a crime at least 18 times in other parts of the country for similar graffiti painting incidents.
