Big changes could be coming to the Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights. City officials may vote on plans by the mall’s owners to take the roof off the enclosed mall, and turn Lakeside into an open-air mixed use facility. They’ve seen the increased business at the nearby Partridge Creek Center, while Lakeside business has reportedly lagged.
