1 woman was killed in a crash of her car and a school bus in Ray Township in north Macomb County.
The crash was on North Avenue near 28 Mile Road.
The bus, from the New Haven Community School District, was carrying three middle school children. They were not injured. The bus driver was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
Macomb County Sheriff says the 37 year old female driver of the car was killed. The car was traveling northbound on North Avenue when the driver lost control and went into the southbound lanes. The bus was traveling southbound and struck the car broadside. Deputies say the road may have been icy at the time.
