Cornerstone Schools says that its Leadership and Business Private High School on the city’s east side will close at the end of the 2017-2018 school year. Students currently enrolled at the Private High School will transition into the Cornerstone Health and Technology High School and other schools in the city. Cornerstone Schools . Co-founder Clark Durant says the merger will save money and create more educational opportunities for inner-city students.
The school was established in 2011. Parents and guardians were notified during a meeting and via an email communication. The Cornerstone charters provide educational services for nearly 3,500 students.
