Millions of vehicles on the road in America got their looks from a Chrysler designer named Bill Dayton.
Bill Dayton was the chief designer for Chrysler, and directed the exterior design of many vehicles when they were created, including the Chrysler and Dodge minivans and the PT cruiser.
William Dayton of Northville, designer of the minivan and the PT Cruiser, has died. He was 81.
