A man was killed when his car crashed into a tree and burst into flames along Warwick on the west side
A Detroit police vehicle was behind the car that crashed but it was not a chase, according to witnesses.
Detroit police said officers saw the car traveling at a high rate of speed and were going to initiate a traffic stop but the car took off and hit the tree.
