Warren Pot Ordinance Stands

Medical marijuana stores may pop up in Warren, after the Warren Council voted to override a veto by Mayor Jim Fouts on where the pot stores could locate.

The Warren ordinance would require medical marijuana operations be at least 1,000 feet away from schools and at least 500 feet away from churches, government buildings, playgrounds and daycare centers.

Fouts vetoed the ordinance because he wanted the buffer zones increased.
The council rejected that.

The Warren ordinance would allow 10 marijuana licenses.
