A Kalamazoo woman and her boyfriend are facing life prison sentences in the death of the woman’s four year old daughter.
Police say girl had died of asphyxiation.
Her body had been found in July wrapped in blankets and duct tape in her home.
A medical examiner said the body had evidence of past abuse and had suffered a fractured skull.
Kelly Ballinger and Matthew Longenecker were convicted of involuntary manslaughter and possession of meth.
Ballinger is to be sentenced today … Longenecker on May 7th.
