Searchers Back At Dig Site For Bodies

The search will resume this morning in Macomb Twp. for the remains of as many as 6 young girls, who have been missing for years. The suspect, Arthur Ream, is doing life in prison for the murder of an Eastpointe girl in 1986. Ream is also a convicted rapist.
Warren Police believe the remains of Kimberly King are buried at the site, at 23 Mile and North Avenue. That 12 year old girl disappeared in 1979.
Police have been working on this for years, and they decided to start the search after a series of interviews with Ream in prison.
In their original interview, Ream told them how to get to the spot where he buried the body of victim number 1.

He said, ‘go up North Avenue, and it’s right there.’
It’s at that location where the searchers are concentrating, in a 100 square yard grid.
