200 new bicycles are being given away to needy children today.
The bike giveaway is taking place at the Fellowship Chapel in Detroit, courtesy of the L-A Insurance Agency in Royal Oak, where executive Takeai Thompkins says kids should be encouraged to spend less time with electronic gadgets, and more time playing outside.
The new bikes cost about 15-thousand dollars.
They were assembled by volunteers at the church.
