A $1 million renovation will be made in Detroit’s historic Majestic Theatre this year.
The outside front will be restored and improvements will be made to the cafe, stage and concert area.
The first of the three phases of the renovation plan begins this month in which the the original marquee from 1935 will be replicated with some new installations and upgrades.
The Majestic Theatre is located on Woodward Avenue in Midtown Detroit.
