A Wayne County driver who was behind the wheel of a truck that struck two of his coworkers, killing one of them, was sentenced today.
47 year old Bobby Lee Collins, of Lincoln Park pleaded guilty to a moving violation causing the death of a construction worker. Other charges were dismissed.
Collins was sentenced to 18 months to 15 years at the Michigan Department of Corrections.
47 year old David Wolf, of Garden City, and Wilbert King, 46, were doing patch work on Van Born Road near Beech Daly Road in Taylor.
Wolf died from his injuries at a hospital.
King was treated for serious injuries to his abdomen and leg.
The crash happened on March 23, 2017.
