I-94 Crash Investigated

State Police are working to determine why an S-U-V went out of control and smashed into a disabled school bus and a tow truck yesterday near Ann Arbor, killing the tow truck driver.

Police say two adults and three children injured in the crash remain in critical condition.
They were in an SUV that ran off I-94 at State Street south of Ann Arbor and crashed into the school bus which was on the shoulder. Tow truck driver, Nader Chehadi, was killed. Chehadi was at the rear of the bus when the collision occurred. Chehadi worked for Budget and Stadium towing service in Ypsilanti. No students were on the bus.
While the cause is under investigation, the family says they were told by police that the driver of the SUV had a suspended license.
