Flint Water Case Resumes

The preliminary exam for the state’s chief medical executive Eden Wells in connection with the Flint water crises is scheduled to resume today.

Doctor Wells is charged with involuntary manslaughter.

It involves the 2015 death of a Flint-area man from an outbreak of Legionnaires Disease .

That outbreak eventually claimed the lives of 12 people and sickened at least 79 others.

However, in previous testimony, an infectious disease expert testified that the Flint-area man had died from acute respiratory distress syndrome and not Legionnaire’s Disease.
