Iconic Building To Be Renovated

Detroit’s historic Albert Kahn Building in Detroit’s New Center has been sold, and will be turned into apartments and retail.
It has been bought by Lutz Real Estate and Northern Equities Group.
It was previously owned by The Platform and other partners.

The 300,000-square-foot building will be converted into more than 200 apartments on floors two through eleven and a retail and office space on the first and lower level.
The redevelopment will include more than 300 parking spaces for residents.
