Gas Station Shooter Faces Charges

A Detroit gas station employee is due in court today on charges he shot and killed a customer.
26 year old Rami Ali Jaber of Dearborn Heights has been charged with first degree murder in the death of 34 year old Derek Roberts of Detroit.

Prosecutors say Roberts was about to make a purchase at the Citgo station on West McNichols on May 13th when the two men got into an argument and that Jaber pulled a gun and shot Roberts.

Investigators say facts and evidence in the case will be presented at today’s preliminary exam.
