A 14-year-old boy was killed when a minivan struck him while he was riding his bicycle in Wixom.
Police are searching for the driver who struck the boy on Potter Road just east of Wixom Road before abandoning the minivan.
Investigators found the minivan in Commerce Township.

The hit-and-run occurred at Emily Street and Van Dyke in Detroit during a block party. The 2-year-old ran into the street and got hit.
There is no description of the vehicle that hit the girl.
