A Sumpter Township woman and her boyfriend are due in court today in connection with the murder of the woman’s four year old daughter.
Investigators say the death of the girl was horrendous … that she had been tortured, burned and drowned in a bathtub.
25 year old Candice Diaz had claimed her daughter had burned herself after she left her in a half-filled bath tub while she left to make pancakes.
Diaz has been bound over for trial on a murder charge and is to be arraigned today.
Her boyfriend, 28 year old Brad Fields, is due in court today for a pre-trial hearing.
