A new WDIV/Detroit News poll shows a big lead for Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Gretchen Whitmer among voters in the upcoming elections. Senator Debbie Stabenow has a big lead over Republican challenger John James.
Whitmer holds 13 percent lead over Republican Bill Schuette.

Whitmer leads among men and women. Whitmer holds a lead of 53 percent-32 percent among women.
In the Senate race,
Stabenow leads with 55 percent of voters supporting her compared to 32 percent supporting James. Stabenow holds a 22 percent lead.
The poll of likely voters was conducted by the Glengariff Group.
