Matthew and Jaimie Starr of Wayne have been charged with 2nd degree murder in the death of 2 year old Devin Bisesi.
Matthew Starr was the father of the boy.
Jaimie Starr was his stepmother.
Police had been sent to the home back in mid-March.
They found the child’s body.
Prosecutors say the child had been kept in a ‘pack and play’ box with a gate on the top, forming a makeshift cage.
An autopsy determined the cause of death was asphyxiation.
