A preliminary exam is scheduled today for a Waterford Township woman charged with the murder of her husband.
51 year old Tina Talbot had called police to tell them that she had shot her husband.
Police rushed to the home on Meadowood Drive and found the mans body in the back yard.
A gun was also recovered at the scene.
Family and friends say Talbot had suffered decades of mental and physical abuse from her husband.
They say the shooting followed a 4 day stretch of beatings.
After the body was found, she was taken to the hospital for surgery and treatment of numerous injuries.
