Flint Water Charges Back In Court

Testimony is resuming this week for four people facing criminal charges in connection with the Flint water crises.

Stephen Busch, Michael Prysby, Liane Shekter-Smith and Patrick Cook.

All had worked at the state department of Environmental Quality at the time the city was struggling to process water from the Flint River.

Shekter-Smith is the only state employee fired for her role in the crises.

She has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Prosecutors say that, as head of the Environmental Quality Office of Drinking Water, she was in a position to order the Flint water treatment plant shut down for failure to produce safe water.
