A northern Michigan woman has been sentenced to three in prison for the attempted theft of frozen sausages.
Crystal Meranda pleaded guilty to first-degree home invasion in Harrison, Michigan.
Police said Meranda broke in and was caught by homeowners while removing packs of sausage from the freezer.
Meranda was sentenced to three to 20 years in prison and ordered to pay fines.
The other case pending against her was dismissed.
