FCA Plans New Factory

While GM plans to closes plant, Chrysler is opening them.
Fiat Chrysler plans to revive the old Mack Avenue engine plant and turn it into an assembly plant to build a new line of Jeeps.
FCA plans to build a new three-row version of the Grand Cherokee in the plant for the 2021 model year, according to many reports.

Then the Jefferson North Jeep plant will be re-tooled for the next-generation Jeep Cherokee.
The Mack engine plant was closed in 2012.
Reports say some 400 jobs are expected to be created at the new factory.
FCA has no comment. An announcement could come next week.
