The Tech billionaire and Tesla boss says he may be willing to buy one of the plants General Motors is planning to close if the automaker is willing to sell the property to him .
GM announced late last month that it is planning to shut down 5 plants in North America next year including the Detroit Hamtramck Assembly Plant and the Warren Transmission Plant.
