Another smash and grab jewelry store robbery— this time Taylor police are investigating a smash-and-grab at J.B. Robinson Jewelers in Southland Center Mall.
Police say two African American men used a hammer to smash a jewelry case. It was so loud that nearby shoppers thought a shooting was taking place.
The suspects left the mall in a black Jeep Commander.
No arrests have been made.
This is the 3rd jewelry store heist in less than 2 weeks in the Detroit area.
