A motorist has been rescued after crashing his vehicle into Lake Saint Clair in Grosse Pointe Shores.
It happened along Lake Shore Blvd. and Lochmoor.
A police officer was able to pull the man from the water. He is in a hospital. It isn’t known why the driver lost control and swerved into the lake.
The vehicle’s OnStar service reported the incident to police.
