Two jewelry thieves are in custody for a smash-and-grab robbery at a Costco store in Commerce Township.
The heist led police on a chase that ended in West Bloomfield.
West Bloomfield Police captured the first suspect on Maple Road near Knollwood. A police dragnet covered the area searching for a second suspect .The second thief was taken into custody near Maple and Inkster.
Police also recovered a stolen car.
Police will try to determine if this is the pair which has staged several smash and grabs at jewelry stores in recent weeks.
