More Flint Water Sentences

Two defendants in the Flint water crises are scheduled to be sentenced today.

55 year old Michael Prysby of Bath and 42 year old Stephen Busch of Dewitt previously pled no contest to misdemeanor charges.

They are the 5th and 6th out of 15 people who have been charged in the case to enter pleas.

All of the pleas to date have come with promises to cooperate with the ongoing investigation.

Prosecutors have recommended probation sentences for Prysby and Busch as long as they fulfill their promises to testify in the case.

Flint’s drinking water had become contaminated with lead in April of 2014.

In addition to the lead contamination problems, there were 12 deaths linked to Legionnaires disease between 2014 and 2015.
