A trial begins today in the slaying of a University of Michigan professor.
29 year old Isom Hamilton is accused in the death of 76 year old professor Robert Sharp.
Prosecutors say he broke into Sharp’s Ann Arbor home twice in June.
The second time, they say, he fatally stabbed the professor and set his body on fire.
