Michigan Gets New Pot Board

Gov. Whitmer says she is moving to put tighter regulations on marijuana in Michigan.

Whitmer has issued an executive order abolishing two existing marijuana boards, and creating the Marijuana Regulatory Agency within the Department of Licensing. The agency will be responsible for administering laws related to medical and recreational pot.
The governor will appoint a director of the new pot agency.
The next job of the state— draw up and pass new laws to regulate marijuana.
