Her boyfriend is serving a life prison term in the death of her four year old daughter.
She’s was also charged in the girls death and is scheduled to go on trial today.
Candice Diaz and her boyfriend Brad Fields of Sumpter Township had been charged with torturing the girl because of her bed wetting problems.
Prosecutors say they had discussed on Facebook how she should be punished.
Investigators say the little girl had been burned and beaten and forced to sleep in a plastic garbage bag in a freezing mobile home in the last months of her life.
Fields was convicted in a Wayne County Circuit Court trial last October.
Diaz was found competent to stand trial on the felony murder charge against her.
