Fake DNA Tester In Court

A Southfield man is due in court today to face charges in a bizarre paternity case.

It all started when a woman filed a complaint charging that 36 year old Ken May was the father of her child.

He was ordered to undergo a paternity test.

Prosecutors say he then paid a 33 year old Warren man 500-dollars to take the test.

It showed that man was not the father.

The prosecutor dismissed the paternity suit.

The woman contested the results and when she was shown surveillance video, she said the man who took the DNA test was not Ken May.

After investigators began questioning May, the woman started receiving threats that included placing dead rats on her door step.

He was then arrested.
