Health officials have confirmed 18 cases of measles in Oakland County since March 13.
Health officials say nearly 1,000 measles vaccinations were given Friday through Sunday.
Officials said the travel-related case of measles came from an individual visiting from Israel. That person visited a number of Jewish institutions in the Detroit area, and other stores, businesses, and clinics.
Health officials say if you suspect you were exposed, call your doctor, do not show up first at a clinic or hospital.
