New Plans At 2 GM Plants

Two GM factories that were closing have been given new life.

GM will sell the Lordstown, Ohio plant to Workhorse, which is a startup electric truck company. This is according to a tweet by Pres. Trump. GM had closed the Lordstown plant.
GM is offering some relief for workers at the Oshawa, Ontario plant that was set for closing. GM and the Canadian auto union have agreed to convert the plant for some new operations, from assembly to stamping and other work. The  Unifor union says it will keep 300 jobs at Oshawa, with more possible in the future.
