Building the wall.
Many people in Oakland County want the wall… a sound wall along the freeway. The Michigan Department of Transportation is holding a meeting to discuss a sound wall, as a part of the I-75 Modernization Project in Oakland County.
Nearly 18 miles of freeway are being rebuilt from 8 Mile Road to South Boulevard.
M-DOT is expected to build a sound barrier along part of it. The meting will be held at UFCW Local 876 in Madison Heights from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
