Sen. Elizabeth Warren is introducing a bill that would cancel the student loan debt for millions. The bill would forgive $50,000 in student loans for Americans in households earning less than $100,000 a year . For those earning more than $100,000, the bill would offer partial debt.
She says a tax on the wealthy would pay for it.
Warren will be Detroit tomorrow to speak to the NAACP national convention.
Joe Biden will speak to the NAACP tomorrow. Biden has gotten the formal endorsement of Mayor Mike Duggan, who says that the former vice president is a friend of Detroit.
