Detroit police are advancing their case against a suspected serial killer.
Detroit police believe 34 year old Deangelo Martin was responsible in the sexual assaults and slayings of 4 women whose bodies were found in vacant homes on the city’s east side.
Investigators say a fifth woman was assaulted Martin, but then managed to escape.
Martin was later arrested in that case and is scheduled to be arraigned today on a charge of assault with intent to murder.
Detroit police have submitted warrants seeking murder charges in 2 of the deaths against Martin and plan to submit warrant requests in the other two the future.
