Violent Hate Spree in Court

A preliminary exam is scheduled for today for a Detroit man in a case that prosecutors say is troubling because of the defendants uncontrollable rage.
24 year old Daryl Edwards is charged with shooting a 39 year old man and his ex-girlfriend several times and stabbing her 8 year old son in the ear and punching his toddler daughter in the face.

Luckily, all survived their wounds.

Prosecutor Kym Worthy says the case is unsettling because in Edward’s world, being rejected by his old girlfriend gave him the right to assault everyone in the home.

The wounded woman had another son in the home at the time.

The 11 year old managed to escape and call police.

Edwards fled before police arrived, but was later found and arrested.
