US Charges Against Ghosn Settled

Nissan and Carlos Ghosn have settled fraud charges in the U-S for 16 million dollars.

Former head of Nissan Carlos Ghosn agreed to pay 1-million dollars to settle claims by the Securities and Exchange Commission that he concealed more than 90-million dollars in compensation,and increased his retirement deal by more than 50-million.
Nissan agreed to pay 15-million.
Ghosn does not admit guilt or wrongdoing. Ghosn is fighting criminal charges in Japan and is confined to Japan while the case goes on.
The S-E-C lawsuit is a civil matter, not a criminal case.
