GM Reverses Health Coverage Move

General Motors has reinstated health care benefits for striking UAW members as the second week of the union’s strike against GM comes to an end. GM had moved the strikers to COBRA health insurance coverage.
UAW Vice President Terry Dittes wrote a letter to GM calling the decision “shameful.”
One of the top sticking points in the talks appears to be the widening use of temporary workers.
