Sen. Lucido Hit With Second Allegation

State Senator Peter Lucido is denying a new allegation against him being made by a female state senator.
Mallory McMorrow, a Democrat from Royal Oak, says Lucido put his hand on her lower back at an orientation session for new legislators in November of 2018. McMorrow says Lucido kept his hand on her during a conversation. Lucido, she says, asked about the election she had won. McMorrow told him she defeated Marty Knollennberg. McMorrow says Lucido looked her up and down and said ‘I can see why.’
Sen. McMorrow tells Crain’s Detroit Business she will file a formal complaint with the Senate business office. She has not returned our phone call. McMorrow says she decided to go public after reading about the allegation from a website reporter that Lucido told the reporter in front of some high school boys they could ‘have a lot of fun with her.’ McMorrow says she should have spoken up before. Lucido tells WJR in text message that he denies the allegation.
