The search continues for a mother and her 4 children in Detroit. Police say Kornecia Waiters picked up her 2 sons, ages 9 and 11, from the Cornerstone School on Nevada on Tuesday afternoon. Her 2 girls, ages 2 and 4, are also missing. Police are looking for the car— a silver Ford Crown Victoria with red rims and license plate No. DSL 0219.
Police said the stepfather was taken into custody for child abuse. Police speculate whether the mother and children are hiding out from the man.
