Complaints Pile Up On Late U-M Doc

Complaints of sexual misconduct are piling up against a long-dead doctor at the University of Michigan.

U of M says it has received more than 100 complaints about the behavior of the late Dr. Robert E. Anderson since the university set up a hotline.
Former students, some going back many years, say Anderson performed unnecessary hernia and prostate exams, molesting the male students and former athletes.

The university says anyone with a complaint can talk with independent outside investigators. A national counseling firm will coordinate care to be offered in communities where victims live. A police report from 20-18 said some U of M staff were aware of allegations about Anderson. No charges were filed, since Anderson died in 20-08.
