GM Plans To Restart Production

General Motors keeps on truckin.
GM hung on to post a 294 -million dollar profit in the first quarter, on strong truck sales before the pandemic hit. GM plans to reopen the majority of it operations May 18th. The governor’s latest emergency order expires May 15th.
The coronavirus cut into GM’s performance during the quarter, costing $1.4 billion during the first three months of the year. Of the top U.S. automakers, GM has the biggest operations in China.
