What Will Mich Schools Do About Masks?

Students returning to the classroom today in Michigan were ordered to wear masks. What happens to that, since the orders have been thrown out by the courts?
Previously, only students in the 6th grade and up had to do so. Many school districts across the state are today moving to in-person classes. A compromise plan put together earlier this year by the state legislature and the Governor allowed local districts to decide whether they wanted to offer face-to-face instruction, virtual classes or a combination of the two. Some started the year with a hybrid method.
The Livonia school district is the latest in the area to pull the plug on remote learning. The school board approved the move to end virtual learning only. School doors are opening today, but on a staggered basis by grade levels. All students will not be in class across the district until Friday.
