St. Clair Shores police say they are looking for a man who robbed and brutally attacked an 80-year-old man as he worked on his lawn. Harold Mackey is a Korean war vet. He says he was doing some yard work on Thursday when a man hit him from behind, leaving him with a broken rib and bruises.
The suspect is described a s black male in his early twenties, about 5’ 10” and weighing around 220 lbs. The suspect got away in a gray GMC Envoy. Police say there may be damage to the front end. Anyone with information is asked to call the St. Clair Shores police.
